For all you "where's Rocky" folk, sly said in many interviews, that the rocky character wasn't returning for the third creed movie, and rocky is not dead, most likely in Canada with rocky Jr as it was shown in creed 2.

Rocky V'ish history repeating itself. I dig it, and can't wait to see if B Jordan's got skills behind the camera.

They continue to combine the stories in each one to make it something new. For example, Creed 2 was a combination of Rocky 2 and Rocky 4. Creed 3 here is a combination of Rocky 3 and Rocky 5. I do like how they take multiple pieces from these movies tho in order to build a story for Creed itā€™s very interesting. Canā€™t wait to see this movie.

Notice how when he's thanking people, and mentioning people that's helped him in the beginning of the trailer-- he fails to mention Damian. To add to that he doesn't recognize Damian when he sees him, and he fails to tell even his woman about their past when he is brought back. This all plays into Damian's feelings of being forgotten and betrayed by Creed really well, and does a great job of adding to his revenge story. šŸ‘šŸ½šŸ‘šŸ½

Jonathan Majors is giving some real Clubber Lang vibes. Seems like this is a lot like Rocky 3 with some hints of Rocky 5

Throughout the trailer, I never felt Rocky's absence until Wood Harris said " Let go of whatever was, and walk into what is " 2.06

An antagonist with a personal stake and a tragic story that we MAY feel justifies his Vendetta. Played by the extraordinary actor Jonathan Majors........This could be Great.

I simply adore both MBJ and Tessa Thompson. As long as thereā€™s a fight Iā€™m in their corner. Iā€™m sure many would disagree but I hope that there can be a Balboa cameo down the road. Assuming there isnā€™t one in C3.

Childhood friendships being tested through competition really do make the best movie plots for some reason. I think this is an idea that is just really relevant and applies to a lot of people. Seeing an old time buddy you used to be close with only to realize you don't have much in common anymore and have gone down separate paths.
