The overall creation of the song is a sum of the band's parts, each member adding their own individual idea and experience to the track. 3:40 Garrett Kato - Losing Touch Losing Touch' was a personal note about how much we are consuming our time in social environments but often the shallow aspects of it, leaving us feeling more alone than together. It's a confession of losing touch not just with someone but being human in the world. 6:16 Felipe Baldomir - Free This song is about creating a life that you love by working hard on the things that fill your heart with smiles. It’s about living life your way & not letting anyone bring you down and tell you that you can’t do something or that it’s too hard. 9:20 LULLANAS - Cheap Silver Lining Cheap silver lining is a song for the over-thinkers, for the people who read in-between, above, below, and around the lines right in front of them. One of the many thoughts that loop in the anxious mind, is doubt. The main theme being am I overanalyzing this or are we hanging on by a thin thread of hope? We were lucky enough to have our schedules align with one of our favorite artists while in LA, Luke Sital-Singh. He co-wrote, produced, and we couldn't resist asking him to be a feature on it! 13:07 Rod Coote - Oceanside This song is about moving to the coast from the countryside for a change of lifestyle. Lyrically it was also inspired by Ernest Hemingway's novel 'The Old Man and the Sea'. 16:24 Hannah May - Meet Me In The Middle This song is about finding that middle ground in a relationship and letting go of the small, insignificant things that sometimes get in the way of love. This is one of those songs that didn’t change a whole lot between the writing / demo / final phases. It felt seasoned and sure of itself right out of the gate. Again, pointing towards the church and faith elements here. It was never a god or magical ghost, it was always my lover and how I fell at her feet. 27:00 Seafret - Everlasting ‘Everlasting’ is probably the most positive love song we’ve ever written! It’s about the highs and lows of a relationship and sticking together through it all. 30:40 Oskar Nordbø - Runaway Runaway is the focus track of my new album The Dogheaded Saint, which is reflected in the narrative about St. Christopher. 34:18 Sylvan Weekends - Young and Freewheeling Looking back to the perfect moment with a special person and remembering how young and freewheeling you felt. 37:11 Mark Wilkinson - Mariposa Mariposa, the Spanish word for butterfly, encapsulates that sense of transformation that I wanted to convey through these songs…The world around us is constantly changing and on reflection, I realised a lot of my more recent songwriting was focused on how to respond and adapt to that change. He felt as though he was trapped, and didn’t know how to achieve or strive to reach his dreams. So I wrot a song to persuade him to chase them. 46:48 Hayden Calnin - Let's Dance Ever since I’ve started releasing music, dancers have been moving to it. The video is a thank you to everyone who has connected with, felt and moved to my music in their own interpretation. My sibling Daisy felt such an obvious choice to be featured in the video as they have been moving to it for years. We've collaborated on performances together for as long as I can remember. We shot the video down at my local beach, the one which has inspired so much of the music I’ve put out into the world. We got extremely lucky on the day with the magical rainbow and sunset lingering around while we filmed the piece, it felt like nature was there with us on our side that day saying a big thank you too. 50:47 FALLBRIGADE - With You This song is about a love letter written between spouses but then it was inspired and dedicated to the importance of friends, family and community during the lock down of 2021. 53:58 Luke James Shaffer - Lisbon This song is about a trip I went on to Lisbon and the instant connection I felt to the city and its' people. Lisbon had this unpretentiousness that shown though. Old and new, worn down but sturdy. I had fun trying to recreate that feeling in a song. 58:20 Sheffield - Things Are Looking Up 1:00:54 The Franklin Electric - Greatest Love of All It's a song about searching for the greatest love of all while swimming in a world of infinite possibilities 1:04:55 Dusty Boots - Find Our Way This song is about hearing and feeling a calling to make changes in your life to live the way that best suits you and take on adventures for a lifetime. We hope it gets you dreaming and chasing your dreams. 1:08:19 Handsome Ghost - Call Me When You're Pulling Up This song is an exercise in self-reflection, thinking inwardly, and a call to action to pull oneself out of the gutters of feeling unrecognizable to themselves. 1:11:53 Lawson Hull - Wanna Be With You I feel like writing a love song never gets old, although, this song is more about the whirlwind of first-encounters, explains Lawson. Yes, they’re easy to write and can’t really go wrong, but the best love songs put you in the scene, like it’s about the listener. If you can show a sense of earnestness and paint the picture of growing old with your lover, I think you’ve done a good thing. You want people to believe it’s real, so you thread specific memories throughout the song. 1:15:04 The Sallyforths - Welcome Back Now This song is about reuniting with a loved one. 1:19:08 Ten Kills The Pack - You'd Like to Believe This song is about depression and how it interacts with your everyday. It lends itself to one’s desire of just speaking out and letting someone know that it’s not any of the excuses you’ve listed, it’s just exactly what it is. 1:22:21 Wild Rivers - Don't People describe love at first sight as an irrevocable moment when you know you want to be with someone forever. I'm not sure it always shakes out like that. In my experience, as you get to know someone, you slowly come closer to knowing. It boils down to making an active decision to choose someone or not. If not, you try to make a really painful, adult decision to move on, and you try to trust that it's the right decision even when it's hard. This song is about making that call.
