Everything about this guy's playing is just amazing. It's a fairly simple piece to play but the musicality he brings makes it spellbinding. You could say that it is easy to play but damn difficult to play this well.

Johann Kaspar Mertz is the most underrated composer for the guitar in all of history. I always hear my fellow guitarists complain that there are no Chopin pieces for guitar (without transcription), I always say of course there is, we have Mertz. Overwhelmingly beautiful.
