Seeing my grandparents age (all in late 70s now) is very scary. They are all so miserable when it comes to every aspect of body functionality - memory, mobility, incontinence, hygiene, self care, mental state. Not a single one of them ever took care of their body, they just sat at home and let their bodies waste away... It is such a huge warning for me of what could be one day.
I have too been only sitting at home, doing nothing good for my body, ever since I can remember. That's how our family is and what we teach our kids. Now I'm approaching 30 and finally started weight lifting. I really hope it does some good for the body in the long run. I wanna be mobile, I want my future kids to enjoy life and I want to be there with them! I don't want them to deal with obesity, EDs and body dysmorphia like I did. Weight lifting is so great for both mind and body, having a strong body is such a powerful feeling! Good luck everyone on your journey!! <3

I truly admire your dedication towards your goals!! I don’t have kids and I feel like I’m always making excuses to not exercise 🫠 I had a knee injury a few months ago and I never started exercising again pretty much even though I LOVE it and it makes all the difference for my mental health. I know that if I ever want to start a family I need to work on my habits now so I can stick to them long term, these videos inspire me so much!!

One of the things that helped me get into fitness was you talking about fitness habits you formed in your 30s and journaling in my ‘me time’ journal, so seeing you talk about fitness goals for this next year is motivating me to make it a priority again!
As for my own goal, I’ve been running on and off for a few years now but I’ve always had to do a mix of running and walking but I’d LOVE to one day do a whole run with no walk breaks, even if it’s only 2 or 3K!

I used to watch Buff Bunny here on the tube - she hasn't been posting too much lately bc she's focused on her business, but she has TONS of easy workouts and meal plans to help with goals! she's also fun 💚
I can totally relate to having your own gym! There's something about the stress or pressure subconsciously to perform at a gym whereas being at home you're by yourself and that you can workout WHENEVER you feel like, whenever the inspiration strikes. Sometimes I'll wanna work out at like 11:52 pm and yeah my gym is open 24/hrs but I have to get dressed and get my keys and driveeeeee it dampens my motivation 😅 so happy for yall - sending good vibes and buttloads of motivation energy 💖 💕
