Super glad you found this game! I'm a vet for this game (been playing since pre-royal flush) and the mechanical depth of the game is much greater than Battle Cats, which is awesome. Looking forward to seeing you do Chapter 2 and onwards!

the battle bricks actually has no traits for chapter 1 and special units that cost bricks are much more valuable then gambling. also the keybindfor the units is 1-8.

Hey Mattshea! Glad you're playing this game! Here some tips:
1: This game is more than battle cats, there are multiple units with many features making this diverse
2: There are stages where you will come to a stop (stage 20, and 30 for chapter 1) which tells you, you need to grind for xp for your units and/or base.
3: NEVER roll for a new battlers before Chapter 1
4: Sometimes special units can be unlocked to purchase in the shop, special units are typically unlocked after beating every stage multiple of 10 (chapter 1 is an exception as it introduces you to the game)
5: Just like battle cats, battlers have alternate forms, this does not only apply to battlers but enemies too (in a different mode 🤫

I can confidently say from the late-game standpoint that early game (first few areas of chapter 1) is probably the roughest part of the game simply cause it feels very slow and your units are limited. Once you get past that section though the game becomes way more fun and fresh and theres way more strategies you can make. Would love to see more

You’ve probably seen a bunch of people commenting on how clicking on the purple cogwheel logo in the loading screen unlocks a new mode, don’t try it. It’s much harder and as of now you are nowhere near prepared for it, I’d suggest finishing the first chapter before even considering touching on it

If people tell you to play on the harder mode you might wanna prepare, I recommend doing it after the final boss of chapter 1
also you should of unlocked a subchapter, try playing it for bricks and xp

hey matt, if you didn't know there's sorta like "rare capsules" in this game, just press the "cards" button near the base button, but keep in mind, rare tickets don't exist yet, so you basically just have to use your bricks, this is optional but the units from the cards are sometimes extremely useful so i'd sorta recommend doing that, just... don't waste that much bricks

It's always great to see more new reactions and content to The Battle Bricks, I've been obsessed with this game for about a year now. It starts off pretty slow but as you progress the game gets a lot crazier and things ramp up pretty fast. Make sure to check out the subchapters too; there's a bunch of extra content there that unlocks as you progress through the main chapters!

As a fan of this game, I highly recommend that you play it again if you feel like it. It's really underrated and a fun experience.
