But what truly sets it apart is that we get to see the psychological complexity of being groomed, abused, stalked through the eyes of a man - a perspective sadly often overlooked. The scene with his parents where he tells them what has been happening, I couldnāt stop the tears. It was so powerful, I felt such a physical reaction, it was like it was happening to me. Incredible tv. I hope this small UK production gets the accolades it deserves. Best thing Iāve seen in a long long time.

When I first started this series, I thought the actor was playing the role TOO well. His trauma, his mannerisms. It made so much sense that it was played by the real victim. So well done.

What blows my mind is that Richard is my age. Heās only about to be 35. You can tell heās lived a long life already. His story is wild. And I think his retelling of it is a form of therapy for him. Heās wise beyond his years, out of necessity. Iām glad heās come out the other side of all these experiences.

I knew it was based upon a true story but had no idea just how personal it truly was to you, the main actor...your own story. This is incredibly brave. To put yourself through this and do it in such an amazing way. Massively impressed
