I think it is lack of work force that is not allowing the district to work. It feels like you might be expanding too much, or maybe you need to turn off a district or two to manage the work force. Also I wonder if you need to push big map exploration so much, there is that river bend place very close that you could get permant fuel from (I think, it states there could be a fuel source there)

I think the whiteout seems pretty short, harsh but short. Seems like a good design idea, just lets you know how bad the white outs are before they get really bad. Also I think breaking multiple promises early in the game hurt you pretty bad. It seems like breaking a promise is a really big deal. We all need to be careful with those promises when we get the game.

Well, from what I've seen so far in this series, I have a feeling that you won't really like this game in the end, at the very least not be so passionate like you were/are for the playthroughs of the original, where you like your micromanagement, caring for a handful of people etc. and I enjoy watching your videos just because of that π The sequel looks awesome graphically, but underneath, it's looking more like a glorified spreadsheet. We'll see what happens π

i feel like the game is just to zoomed out with such little control over your city it would have been better if they went with a cities skyline like builder or something where you can at least choose the buildings in a area instead of a road gets made to this district and its freezing because you don't cant build heaters or anything

Your coal stockpiles disappear at the beginning of a whiteout BECAUSE you did not build a supply depot. Read the description for the supply depot (extraction district building).
