Donāt get me wrongā¦Iām not old. Only 32 this year, but Iām old enough to have lived beyond my āinvincible years.ā This song takes you back to a time when we can all remember living fast, free, and kinda recklessly. (Maybe a whole lot reckless for some.) A time when we were young and never thought about tomorrow, much less āthe future.ā With a wonderful wife, and 2 young kids of my own, Iām happy with where my life is, and Iām glad those years are behind meā¦But damn itās nice to have certain songs that remind you that at one time, you lived them.

Every time I listen to this.. oh boy thereās me, in my room, writing this while in tears. Iām now 17 year old, Iāve been kidnapped on my 3rd both of my parents have drug problems I went to 20-25 foster familyās, and when I was 13 I was in juvi, with a radio in the wall, with 3 radio channels.. and I came by this song, not the end of my story though.. Iāve been in multiple foster fam after and soon Iāll move to my own place, doing my own thing, my job, my friendsā¦ this is just so much nostalgia.. thanks.
