How much effective is knee mua for extension lag following tkr?

Hi. I've never heard u talk about people like me that had both knees replaced 8 wks apart. Did all the PT but rom hit a wall. Only got to about 85-90. Had MUA on both 2 wks ago, at 6 mos and 4 mos point on each leg. I am still at about 85 and 95. Feeling so defeated. Any advice? Thank u. Luv your videos. 😊

My PT said you don’t want MUA because you have to start pt from the beginning. Is that true?

Hi there Tony: How long after applying say Theraworks foam can I safely apply heat or cold ? Is there a rule of thumb! Thanks my friend for your contribution. BTW this stuff works very well! Holy cow!!! I was wondering why behind my knee hurt so much when I was bending it! I had TKR on 7/21/21 and this was perplexing to me! What can I do on my own to help this get better?

Hi Dr Tony. Pam, 17 weeks post TKR,Abbotsford Canada. When I stretch for flexion, I feel the resistance more in the front of the leg, a few inches above the ankle between the two lower leg bones. What do you think is going on and how would I address it? Rehab was finished for me early with our only goals being 0°-120°

Had a left knee replacement 2 months ago. ROM only 93 degrees after a manipulation procedure 2 weeks ago. PT can only get me to 107 with her assistance. However Dr got me to 120 in manipulation. Working very hard but pain and tightness. Dr may want to do another manipulation. Says he doesn't know what to tell me. My PT is doing her best. I work retail and need to go back to work in 3 weeks. I am so frustrated. I exercise twice a day at home . PT 3 times a week. I don't know what to do. If I let him do a second manipulation will I recover in time to get back to work? First manipulation gave me alot of pain for a week . Sharp pain inside knee and thigh pain. My knee was bad before surgery bent far to the outside. Don't know if I damaged ligaments etc. But why can't I get better ROM?

My sister was told to do it after only 2 weeks of pt. This is ridiculous. This was never done before, but greed prevails. They always find new ways to make more money, regardless of how they affect someone's quality of life. Being just under anesthesia for the surgery and going under so soon is literally life threatening, but do they care?
Anesthesia even every 1 year is still dangerous but after just a month or two is dangerous. Especially a few weeks. Many people have a very bad reaction and die. Who do you blame? They cover their butts in the forms you sign, you give them the permission to do this to you and they do NOT take responsibility. With Physical Therapy you can do well. Do NOT let them bully you into it. The risks outweigh the benefits.
