Hi PSVR Underground, thank you for your honest thoughts on our game Apollo 13 VR, We appreciate all feedback and opinions. We are sorry to hear your impressions on the game were negative and can assure you we have listened to all community feedback. We will be adding updates very soon to address concerns raised and to make the game enjoyable for all.
In regards to being a wave shooter, we will be implementing a new game mode removing the wave shooter element and incorporating a more dark, slow, tense and atmospheric environment. We will still be keeping the wave mode for those looking for an intense experience with lots of gun play, but will be adding this new mode for those looking for more of a slower paced, terrifying experience.
We value your opinion and hope once the new update is available that you will look at the game again.

Thanks for the vid AJ! I'm really excited for Soul Covenant too! It's pretty much the same team as for Soul Sacrifice and seems to be the same structure as well, so it will most likely be some kind of dungeon crawler with really basic maps full of monsters and tough boss fights, like Soul Sacrifice, God Eater, Toukiden, etc... The producer, Koh Okamura, worked on many games other than Soul Sacrifice, like Blue Dragon, The Last Story or more recently Dyschronia, which I played and reviewed a few weeks ago. It's a niche game since it's kind of a VR mistery novel/point and click and it certainly has some pacing issues, but it was a great story, probably the best one I've seen in VR so far, with an excellent ending and some very good things from the stunning visual effects to the excellent OST and character design. Ended up loving the game and I'm pumped up since Soul Covenant's plot shares a lot with Dyschronia. The post apocalyptic and dystopian Tokyo runned by an AGI, the enhanced humans, etc... but with the experience of Thirdverse in terms of action games, RPGs, and epic boss battles. The visual effects look quite similar too, but it seems even better and I can tell you that it will be a blast to see in VR!
As for the podcast, you've seen the last one which was focused on the OST, but you can find many others on their channel that develop other aspects of the game. Some of those podcasts have a full english translation. It's like most of those japanese "developers talk", not very fun to watch but you can catch some cool informations aboutcthe game. Nothing will talk better than experiencing the game, so I can't wait to watch your first impressions :)

AJ! I noticed you called this a podcast so I went and looked but found the last podcast you uploaded was almost 2 years ago..lol. Is that something you just don't do anymore or am I using the wrong app(main podcast app on iphone)? I'd love to be able to listen on the go if possible, but totally understand if that's a pain and not worth it, especially since it's not monetized.
Either way, thanks for all the great VR content, cheers!

6:09 LFG!!!! I'm down whenever, been playing the "hell" out this 😏 Been playing multiplayer on extreme mode now, they added a bunch of new systems to for the blessings and perks so you can start a run with some upgrades right off the start! Wasn't just the visuals they updated!!! But I've been crashing a bit so I'm desperately waiting on a patch, you lose you entire run in multiplayer and can't recover it

Just watching the show from the start. Noticed somebody saying Legendary Tales seemed expensive. Honestly, I would pay more for a lot of VR games – happy to support independent studios. My concern with a 45 quid game is more that I'm just not sure if I will like it. If there was a two hour demo, I'd try it in a heartbeat and buy it right away if I liked it. I get why shorter VR games don't usually have demo versions, but I think one for Legendary Tales really might help them win over some holdouts like me. ;-)
