Former SAS Soldier Darcy Dunstan says Anzac Day is a day where “all Australians bind together”.

Mr Dunstan said it is both a special day for veterans and a “special day for all Australians”.

“I think it’s a day where all veterans bond together whether they’re in uniform or not.

"It’s also a special day for all Australians because it’s a day where Australians bind together.”

The former SAS Soldier sat down with Sky News host Peta Credlin to discuss Anzac Day.

It's hard to understand how the Australian government and police can allow pro-Hamas demonstrators to desecrate this day that honours those brave Australians and Kiwis who gave their lives.

Omg I would vote for him. So brilliant to hear a normal person telling the truth about how many Aussies are struggling. His priorities are totally in order. ❤

ANZAC day in Sydney Australia and Victory day in Moscow Russia are but two examples of orchestrated rituals of persuasion; events that are held each year to celebrate and encourage the continued blind obedience of the heroic universal soldier, irrespective of his or her nationality and allegiance. Lest we forget or even know, that war is not possible without the universal soldier supported as they are by by the universal labour and skills of the waged workers who produce their weapons. This relatively massive number of working class men and women throughout the world are commanded, paid and supervised by a chain of command that leads back to a relatively minuscule number of ruling and political class men and women. Why doe this continue to be allowed by the vast majority of us; let alone celebrated?

Imperial War crimes day, cannon fodder numbers a bit low for the next adventure so wheel out the band. It's Tommy this and Tommy that and Tommy go away but it's thanks My Atkinson when the band begins to play.

Sorry for all those people who died. It's sad. But there is nothing heroic when you are an invader. In this sense, Turkey is the heroic side for defending itself. Australia has always invaded in every single war, without having their freedom ever threatened.... And you get your ass kicked, because there is no morale and meaning fighting away from your motherland

We need less career politicians, and more representatives who have had to struggle and work hard in life with real life experiences. Not just primary school, high school , university, who then work as a political advisor or union official. Look at the current mob in charge- couldn’t relate to the people , even if they tried.
