READ:
4:40 PM - 8:00 PM. All trains are included. Shots start out at the Kahn Road grade crossing just west of the station with the final batch of clips at the station itself. Since the last time I've fanned here, they have removed the small private crossing between Kahn Road and the station. A variety of rolling stock can be seen including ALP-45DP, ALP-46, ALP-46A, PL42AC, Metro-North GP40FH-2M, GP40PH-2 & GP40PH-2B locomotives, two Arrow III EMU sets, plus the assorted push-pull equipment (Comets, MultiLevels). YD-43 makes an appearance both ways with 4110 providing power. This train would be involved in a grade crossing incident @ Mount Tabor shortly after the last clip for this video was shot. Enjoy the action =)

I live right near the grade crossing incident at Mount Tabor Station. I heard the crash as the lead loco struck a tractor trailer loaded with new cars. Fortunately there was no serious injuries to the 3 train crewmen and truck driver. Police and EMTs were on the scene literally within minutes.

That's the rear entrance to what used to be Allied Chemical. I went over that rade crossing almost every day for 5 years. Back then the Pullman green DL&W electrics were running with occasional EL push-pulls. The walking path next to the tracks is a former trolly line.

0:53 is that a passenger train that’s a odd one, why can’t they just run a EMU / DMU?

I wonder if this was cause of COVID, but I’ve never seen MUs or Push Pulls on the M&E and I’ve ridden it my whole life. The Metro North engines also rarely go up that way. Very interesting video!
