This feels less like a song and more of a mantra or incantation until the drop. This version definitely feels more “unltraviolent:” The screaming and high pitched whistling is on the verge of... scary. The trance-like repeating of the same phrase makes it feel like someone is using the words as an excuse to be exactly what they couldn’t escape from—ultraviolence. If I can’t escape you, I can become you. If I become you, if I can move a thousand miles an hour again, I can escape you, forever. The second half of the song feels much less threatening, like the calm after the storm. Peace after war. Life... after death. The repeating of the phrase suddenly feels like there’s a hinge of regret or guilt behind it. Perhaps, for the second half of the song, the phrase was directed inward, instead of outward. I like this remix because it paints an image in my mind that’s all too familiar while still being entirely new. It still feels like a Crywolf song (Meaning track wise; of course a song with his voice and lyrics is going to sound like his own, but that’s not what I mean exactly. The vibe and atmosphere from the track alone feels like Crywolf), but it pushes to a slightly different direction. Instead of sorrowful anger that comes from loss (I.e. Justin being robbed of his work), this track turns that sorrowful tone into a vengeful one: I can’t stand the weight of the world’s violence, so I will tear it at its waistline. That’s my 2¢ and my evaluation, if you will, of the song. Tl;dr: I like song, it gud and make gud brain pictures in head.

I think this is the first time I’ve preferred a remix to an original Crywolf song. This feels like more of a soundscape than a song at times, but the way it communicates atmosphere is wonderfully creepy.

I feel like Levitate really captured the essence of Crywolf here. Like you could tell me that Crywolf made this and I would believe you. It’s so eerie. Reminds me of the very beginning of Porter Robinson - “Fellow Feeling” (Slumberjack Remix).

This is truly a reimagination. A beautiful terror. A haunting experience but it left me shattered and with so much more understood about Crywolf and myself.

I feel tranquilized by this song. The gravity, it pulls me in. I just fall into some sort of state and I just vibe throughout it all.

I find myself unable to pull away from this track. I literally can not do any other work while listening to it. I'm in a trance and the beginning definitely feels like a spellbinding incantation. <3
