I honestly hope they do more audio books - it being fully voices by the VA's and each having their own voices was such an awesome experience for an Audio Book. I really enjoyed Ruined King!

Sad to see Universe short stories go, but I understand most ppl aren't huge lore nerds like I am. I just hope we'd get more immersive lore stuff. LORT is a gold mine and I love it, just like the League official lore book with all the regions in it etc. I hope one day we can get a book series about this universe <3 I bet a lot of amazing writers would be more than happy to write about this!

Glad to hear they’re taking steps forward with the lore, though I’m sad to see them moving away from short stories. With so many champions in League, some are bound to get sidelined in major lore events, and the short stories gave them a chance to shine and for those who wished to engage more to have a chance to. Other game universes would kill to have something as developed as Universe, and that’s for good reason. Those who play League and those who enjoy their lore aren’t necessarily the same demographic, and I hope they keep that in mind moving forward. I’ve loved the Riot Forge stories but it’s disappointing to have more and more of the lore behind a paywall.

I prefer the short stories imo. They put a certain champ to the spotlight, and it's only the time they could really show up as the protagonists. It also gives more information about the champ's current situation and personality.. The broader ones they're gonna plan will just focus the same 10 champs over and over again and it's unfair to those others who aren't part of the major events.

In regards to Skarner, I'm growing concerned that they're starting to neglect or even drop his crystal aspect. It feels like it's going from "a monstrous being powered by primordial magic" to "big scorpion who throws rocks". And I thought it was such cool lore potential that his species were the source of hextech crystals, meaning it was an unethical technology. The model design is really cool, but I'm not impressed with the direction, disappointed even.
