Crazy that as a member of the production team, I feel the need to weigh in...but I think it's important to note that we've TRIED to do YouTube shorts that provided a LOT more context...and...they were * ignored. *
It seems like we're between a rock and a hard place when it comes to sharing our message on platforms that are built for bite size thoughts instead of deep, reasonable discussion.
If we spend all our time trying to explain things on social media, no one has time to pay attention.
But if we just cut right to the chase in a 30 second clip, we'll get blasted for something taken out of context.
Someone make it make sense...because the last thing this podcast is about is deliberately causing conflict. - ACP

The critics absolutely took everything out of context. The demographic you guys were talking about are more likely to accept bad behavior from partners and don't have a good grasp on what "normal" or "healthy" may look like yet. Traumatic early experiences can also skew what "normal" and "healthy" look like to an individual going forward. It's just the name of the game with an underdeveloped brain.
Kudos to Gaby for not being mean. Few (including myself) would have been as patient. You guys have been getting a good deal of hate all across your youtube shorts. Apart from people taking your shorts out of context, I think the biggest driver of your hate comments is people who have made mistakes (it's ok) and now feel the need to double down on them because of insecurities/shame instead of owning up to them. This then leads them to push others to emulate their actions for a sense of personal validation. Totally hypocritical considering they tout things such as "learning" yet never learn, and call others with different opinions "toxic" while pushing for self-harming behaviors.

This is the strangest thing. Itâs rare for me to speak an insensitive comment on any social media because I love God , my brothers and sisters so much. I am convinced your YouTube channel will be incredibly successful đ however, something was said in your last video that I couldnât appreciate at all. Now in this video you are speaking about your controversial ways. Mm, with my comment in your previous video I wonder if you would like to shed light as to what you were trying to say? It was about your weight in your teenage years where you said you were not pretty and your Fatter agreed. That sets a poor example for our young generation and even woman today. Any thoughts?

OK Podience, it's your turn to decide which "hater comment" we'll turn into a TFB mug! Should it be: 1) Yappuccino? or 2) Professional Yapper? Vote in the comments or text your vote to us via our Podience text line at 302-542-0800!
