I feel so nostalgic watching you open that childrenβs art set! My grandma used to get me these kits when I was younger and was my gateway to art. But man, I was screaming with those first layers of markers! π
those markers just rip up the paper, gunk up and bleed. And those watercolors π

Itβs nice to have you back! Iβve been using your sketch transfer technique for a while now, I almost forgot I learned it from you. Itβs so helpful. It takes away the fear of messing up the sketch in the coloring stage. I can go for it, knowing that I can always just try again with a βcopyβ of the original sketch.

I enjoy oil pastels! In my experience, the type of paper really matters and you can usually get good results with budget pastels. paper has to have some texture/ grit to it otherwise they will not blend at all and stay streaky. Brown paper bags work nicely. I'd love to see a video with you trying them out!
