Born in 50's, and enjoyed the beautiful soulful music of each generation from 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s. Met my husband in 70s, a true old school romantic and real man, and he swept me completely off my feet and we were crazy, stupid in love. He made me feel loved as much 26 years later even as he was succumbing to cancer, and he would flirt with me. I miss him and the all this beautiful music. But I feel that God wrote our love song. He always told me, "its you and me baby forever. It was us till his death. I thank God for the beautiful experience of love with him.โค

It's a random Sunday evening in 2004. You're playing with the neighborhood kids outside when you start to feel rain drops hitting your face. The sun begins to set and the street lights come on. Your mom opens the front door and shouts at you to come inside for dinner. You say goodbye to the other kids and walk inside your house. You are immediately hit with the smell of baked chicken, collard greens, black eyed peas, & cornbread. You walk around to the kitchen and see your mom cooking while singing along to After the Love Has Gone by Earth Wind & Fire. You hear a calm clap of thunder followed by a downpour of rain. All is good in the world. โค๐ญ
