Lovely film, thanks for posting. I was born and lived in Basingstoke for 30 years before moving away. I remember much of the old town before the development schemes began, and the new housing estates being built on what was once farmland and fields. It's a place I hardly recognise now, much of my past has succumbed to the constant re-development and the relentless building of homes.
