Really want you to do the â.ending explainedâ of this because while I like the premise of a lot of horror movies the execution is usually too scary for me. And Iâd rather read the books where my mind can make it less scary.

Am I the only one that took it as a metaphor for drug addiction? We are shown that the eaters have an urge to eat and are led to believe that they need to do so to survive. When we see her mom in the hospital though sheâs alive and sheâs an eater so that means that they donât NEED it to survive. Iâm not an expert on addiction by any means so apologies if I am ignorant here but isnât a common thing in addicts how they feel like they need to use to be able to function normally (eat in this case)? I have a other examples but I donât want to waste anyoneâs time too much!
