He talks about the guy from the previous music video, yes, but also Melanie Martinez also focused on a couple she had at that time to create this song, making reference to him with the guy from the carousel music video, he talks about how the couple that she had at that time was a musician, a writer just like her, he always tried to teach what he knew to Melanie, she took it in a bad way because the boy believed he was superior to her, therefore, after having finished it, she created this song to add it to the album, and also to expand the story of cry baby, that's why it has 2 meanings,
The boy is represented as the carousel boy, and as Melanie Martinez herself says about this character, she describes that he is a character who believes he is superior to anyone else who is not on his side, selfish, evil and toxic, just like the boy with whom she once had a relationship, really, if it has a connection with the previous videos, it is a story that continues and has a lot of content, but, you have to analyze it very well!
Melanie also thought of her fans, because many or almost all of us have had a person who has tried to throw us into the mud, so that no one feels less than anyone or anything and to show that everyone has the same importance in the world.
PS: the next song called soap, talks about a new character, cry baby has already left her relationship with the carousel boy, but she meets someone new👀

I relate to alphabet boy so much. Back in i believe 4th or 5th grade we were writing about a book or something like that in social studies and like sometime i would get called with another teacher to help me with and when like we were done writing and stuff and when i went back in my class my teacher would say it wrong then my other teacher would say its wrong and it just stressed me out so much i feel like it was my fault or maybe i was like following correctly.
