Just finished this movie and loved it. From performances, direction, and fantastical story to subtle practical and visual effects, this movie feels like fantasy drama done right! 10/10

The villages were just like here in Poland, where the population was illiterate and filled with many superstitions, local witch, etc. I was very intrigued watching this film :)

The quote by David Fear about the film just pisses me off. Oh, the ignorance! Does he even research the topic before giving any kind of statements? What kind of "Easter European" folklore did he find here? Geographically and culturally Estonia always was in the Northern Europe and under the influence of Germans, Swedes and Danes for more than 700 years. Estonians are Finnic people and are not related to Slavic people at all. Yes, we are close relatives of Finns. So it's Balto-Finnic folklore then. This stupid "Eastern European" Cold War concept is dead. Estonia was 48 years under the Soviet occupation. We did not volunteer for any of this. Besides it's been more than 25 years already. So please stop living in the past.
