As an artist, I've had many people, including other artists, tell me that my colors are amazing and they ask me how I'm so good at them. I never really cared about color theory nor cared to learn it. I learned through experience. A lot of my earlier art was inspired by artists who had vivid colors. You don't need to know color theory to have good coloring, so don't worry too much about it!
