This shoot with Norton has been one of the best I've seen on WSI. Thanks James!

Norton is one of the wrestlers I ALWAYS enjoyed seeing. Always looked authentically strong, no messing around, tough kind of guy. Very few of them in the business then or now! Great interview!!!

Classic Ole being Ole. Hate to speak ill of the dead, but Iโ€™ve never heard a kind word spoken about him.

The offer Scott Norton got was probably similar to Tully Blanchard's offer. Tully was offered $500 per appearance contract to reform The Four Horsemen at Slamboree 1993. Tully did not accept the offer and was replaced him with Paul Roma.

Scott was awsome in Portland! So many greats came through there.

So basically Ole put words in Stings mouth. That he didn't say. I don't know Steve Borden personally. But,what people speak about him. I don't ever see Sting speaking in that manner. Even if he really felt that way. Stings doesn't strike me somebody who would bury his opponent like that. Sting is known as one of the nicest kindest professional wrestlers ever. It's not even in his nature to bad mouth someone like that. Just imagine Scott took that personal. Scott is a stand up dude himself. Glad he finally got to talk with Sting about that. I love how Scott says "Sting was phenomenal". I see people say Sting is a Icon etc... Never really see him mentioned in the ๐Ÿ category. He most definitely is in my humble opinion. Scott Norton will always be one bad ass dude to me. His aura says lightning bolt to me. Just a big explosively powerful strong dude. As a ๐Ÿ‚. That moves extremely quick for that size and mass. Like he could grab ya and turn you into to dust with his barehands. Scott is very under rated himself. Also Rest in peace Ole Anderson.

I am gonna say this... Sting was the BEST Wrestler when it came to the "David and Goliath" concept in wrestling. He make all the big men look like KILLERS

Another one of my questions answered. I often wondered what happened. I was watching WCW a lot in 93.

I believe if it was a bad match, Sting would not have said that anyway.

Top 5 HW of all time & one of the biggest monstrous money draws to ever do it. He is literally a mythical hero type figure in JP. He is worshipped & treated like royalty. He & Abdullah are embedded in contemporary Japanese pop culture ๐Ÿ’ฏ

It never ceases to amazing me how wrestlers get bent out of shape over a "he said.." statement instead of asking the person directly.

Ole was trying to get Norton to work for pennies on the dollar...Some people call it 'smart business man' i call it 'messing with my finances'. It's like i tell people when they try to low-ball me on an offer to do a construction project : "You wouldn't ever do it for that price, why the hell should i"?

Norton could have just talked to Sting, then put Ole on the spot.

My favorite Ole moment was when he went off on Feinstein about Flair leaving WCW with the world title belt. He was either so stiuck in the past or just hated Flair that much that he actually said that nobody cared or was hurt when he took the belt to Vince since he was champion of nothing because there was no NWA (there technically was, but it basically just existed as a paper entity)/territories anymore. He was still champion of the second largest company there was, it was a big news story, and it did matter to someone because it sparked a couple of different lawsuits (one against Flair and one against WWF for using what was considered NWA intellectual property).
