The vision of Rupert Sheldrake
Season 2 Episode 11 (S02E11)

About Collective Consciousness (former title: The Destiny of this Universe)

Joey and Ferdinand took the train to London to interview the one and only Rupert Sheldrake, writer of a number of world famous groundshaking and -braking books. It's not without reasons he's called to be a 'modern prophet' by the Sunday Times.

Rupert has proven in many ways a number of paradigm shifting phenomena, such as telepathy, non-local consciousness and he is the promotor of a phenomena he calls 'morphic resonance'. Rupert states that the whole universe and life is under continues evolution and development, including the 'laws' of physics. He asks the profound question: "Why would the so called 'constants' and 'laws' be constant since the beginning of the universe until the end of it?" Rupert states that the Universe, and Life itself, learns by doing and keeps memory of what works and what doesn't. The implications of Rupert's research cannot be overstated. It breaks right through current scientific dogmas and believes, but mainstream science won't accept Rupert's finding because... they don't fit the current models. Rupert also got his TED Talk banned and removed, offically because it was deemed to be pseudoscience, without elaborating which part of the story was not based on facts.

For LuMens it's very interesting to see the overlap between science and spirituality come forward with this podcast, an overlap that many great scientist of this world has come to conclude.

Ferdinand asks a few aditional contemplating questions, such as 'What is time, how do you view that?' and 'Where or what is this Universe developing towards?' Enjoy this broadcast!

I love listening to Rupert Sheldrake. His lack of ego and arrogance is so refreshing. His explanations are clear and easily understood. He is soothing 😊.

Years ago when I was first out on my own I couldn’t afford long distance calls. When I wanted to talk with my mom, who was 1500 miles away, I would just concentrate on her calling me and she would nearly always call within several minutes. No one can ever tell me people can’t influence others over hundreds of miles with our minds.

I love Sheldrake's work, thank you for having him on. One critical remark:at around 10:40 he says that most people would say that telepathy is real. I would disagree; I think most people do experience telepathy (as in, say, the phone call example), but most would deny it as such and call it a coincidence, since they trust science (or rather, the scientistic and materialistic worldview) more than their experience and intuition.

May I just say that I commend you, the interviewer, for articulating your beautiful thoughts about 'time' at around the 1:00:00 mark. That's a very difficult chair to be in, speaking such personal thoughts to such an eminently learned man as Rupert. I was praying for you as you spoke. Because, I believe God can answer prayers outside of time. I hope He would be pleased to bless the words spoken by you and those spoken by Rupert to your mutual edification. I believe the words in this wonderful interview will prove life-giving as the tone of the interview on both sides was so very childlike. I say that as a big big compliment. And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them and said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. ><> <>< I already loved Rupert. And now Im pleased to meet you.
