That sample of the Smiths ‘How soon is now’ at the intro is genius.

I absolutely love this song. Back in the day when this song came on, every one hit the dance floor.

I remember getting a cassette tape with this song on it for free by sending in proof of purchases off of cereal boxes. This was in 1990 or 1991. I don't remember what kind of cereal it was but my family liked it so we got 4 cassettes. They only had 2 to choose from so we had 2 of each. I'll never forget walking around listening to this on my pink generic brand walkman.

This got quite a bit of airplay on MTV back in 1990, the UK cranked a lot of innovative dance music in those days.

This song, along with the Smiths how soon is now ....totally blow me away. 2 of the best sounds from the 80's, lyrics too.

Loved that dramatic shift in 1990 towards this funky, early 70s throw-back, newness… It was a great change.

Still a great track. I think the reason it's aged very well are: banging backing track, great sample, and luscious double vocal from the the two singers. This album (Goddess) and Foxbase Alpha by St. Etienne are my 2 favourite early 90s pop albums.

Cool song from the Fall of 1990. 19 years old. Desert Storm was a Sheild. The whole world was holding it's breath.
