Finally someone gets it. There are a lot of wrong tabs out there.

Great video! I love the open tuning, it gives the song such a deep, moody, resonant vibe.

Hey! I've been fiddling around with this song, and I watched some footage of Lizzy performing this song live, and it looked to me like she might only do 3-fingered chords for the verse chords. Tuning string 3 up to G# (same as string 2) and playing with a 3-fingered chord for most of it seems right to my ear, but may not be exactly the same. It definitely makes it easier, though :) Thank you for the great video!

Thank you so much for responding. That is great information. I never thought of borrowing from the parallel key. To your point, I've heard other people analyze songs and comment that the artist probably wasn't aware of all the theory going on, it just sounded good to them. In Lizzy's case, I assume that since she attended Berkley she has a clue!! I'm just a hobbyist, and one of my greatest challenges is figuring out chords to songs. It can be quite frustrating at times. Thanks for the help!!

this is awesome! do you think you could do one for ceilings by lizzy? i know she plays it with a capo but I've seen people play it in a different tuning like this so I'd be interested to see how it works

Great stuff, thank you so much! I have trouble putting four fingers on the same fret, especially on the upper ones (7th, 8th, 10th). Seems pretty cramped lol. Any advice how to reliably fret those?

This song seems to have a ton of borrowed chords in it. I had the chords figured out but because of all the "borrowed" chords I couldn't figure out what key it is in. C# feels like the home chord, Is it in fact in the key of C#. Can you offer any explanation about the borrowed chords, or is that some serious in depth music theory?
