Everyone: "So, is there a rule for when to use which article?" Germans: "Well yes, but basically...no."

This channel is perfect for people who, like me, prefer to learn with charts, rules/exceptions, hard data, rather than with the duolingo method. Many thanks for making the videos, I watch them one after the other as if it were a Netflix series. Wish you all the best

I am German myself and always thought how confusing it must be for those who want to learn German to know which article to use. The clues you have given in this video are very useful. Mind you, the many suffixes are still pretty confusing, but there is at least some logic to it. Thank you und viel Erfolg to all learners of German. 🍀🙂

I love how you color the articles to match Germany's flag knowing the words gender is so important because I need them with akkusativ and dativ (grammar in general)

I really liked your presentation. I am 80 years old, and enjoying 7 languages in Duolingo. My dad's father was from Hannover, and as a child I learned a fair amount of German words and phrases. When I was 22 I spent a month in Germany meeting relatives and learning more German with a cousin near my age. I met a great-aunt there and she called me "kleines Würstchen" ---now I know why. I bookmarked your url so I can refer back to it! Gut gebrüllt, löwe!
