I'm not christian, but I recently realized Red is a christian rock band. I've loved this song ever since I was diagnosed with anxiety & depression almost 10 years ago. Based on the lyrics this song is not only about someone depressed, but someone in a very dire situarion calling for Loving Jesus Again. Another interpretation of mine (hence the melancholy of this song) is an inner monologue of Jesus himself looking at people around him before he dies as he knows it's "already over". "Nothing left to lose loving you again" sounds valid, as he was resurrected soon after his death to spread love among his followers even after his demise. It might seem far-fetched, but many christian songs are worded in a way that even non-believers can make their own interpretations based on the lyrics. To me, after learning a lot from my christian friend, this song is about the last thoughts of Jesus before his death. So much pain presented in this beautiful song.

For a long time, I used to be that person. Sad, depressed, always crying for no reason. A prisoner in his own head. I wanted desperately to be happy but I couldn't. This world shattered my heart into a million pieces and I was convinced that not even death could heal my pain. I was given every reason to be sad and I couldn't see anything else beyond my pain. But then my life changed. The moment that I decided to stop feeling sorry for myself and to pursue the life that I truly desired. Ever since I made that decision my life has changed. And a few years later, I am establishing a career as a Motivational Speaker. My hope as a speaker is to help those who have forgotten the true meaning of life, just like my former self once did, become the better part of themselves. To help people become the person they were destined to become. You may not see it now, but everything you have gone through and have overcome has strengthened you. Everything you have gone through and overcome makes you you. You are awesome, you are unique, you are one of a kind. You deserve everything this world has to offer. Life will get better. But only if you CHOOSE for it to get better. Please don't give up :)
