The thing that really helps about SoundCloud as a DSP is that it is full of artists who are generally supportive of other artists. People on SoundCloud arenāt trying to listen to the biggest top 40 hits, they want to hear new music. That mixed with the OP power of SoundCloudās āstart a radioā function that actually gives you songs that are similar unlike Spotifyās radios which are kinda mid. SoundCloud is amazing for DJs who are looking for new tracks to play, and the free upload nature has been up there with bandcamp for being where the underground thrives. Only complaint about SoundCloud is the UI could be better, but all of its other benefits make it a staple for me. I could see how someone who doesnāt make music or care about underground music would find SoundCloud irrelevant but those people arenāt the people that most artists starting out are probably targeting

Also make playlists with similar artists and your music. Make sure to add the similar music to the playlist right after their release so your playlist will show up first. That way their fans will automatically listen to your song because it's in the same playlist. It has worked for me so many times.

Wow, thank you for saying that about remixes and cover songs because at first I was almost embarrassed to drop any cover songs and I thought it might be really corny to use some of my favourite artists instrumentals just to see what happens you know so thank you for that deafly give me a shove
Liked subscribed and will be here for more. Thank you very much. Much love from Canada.
