This song is my childhood. Back then I lived in magic and it was so real. Life was a romantic story and every moment was the turning point full of emotion and mystery. Somewhere along the way after trauma after trauma after trauma I lost the magic. I stopped believing and life became cynical. So for those wondering why this song speaks to me, touches me the way it does, I found the most beautiful woman I have seen in my life. And while others would surely agree that she's beautiful, I feel like I have seen thousands of diamonds. Different, but each of them beautiful. Until I saw her. She's beyond beautiful. She is radiant. She is the feeling of seeing the first sunlight glistening on fresh snow. Everytime I see her or hear her voice, I am enchanted. Breathless. But, she's living in a different world. And this song expresses this feeling. It's like looking into the sky, seeing the stars and realizing for the first time, they are forever beyond your reach.
