This is about the only audition performance from these shows I've come back to listen to multiple times. I find this version with the elevated emotion and power to be better than the original and would love to be able to download a studio version of it or of Adele singing it like this. Can't believe there are people on here commenting this performance was lacking. He one upped an extremely successful and talented artist on their own song IMO.
