This song found me as I'm sitting in a hotel room, preparing for a surgery I desperately don't want. I have a unique phobia where I'm afraid of foreign objects in my body, and I have to have a hip replacement. A pound of titanium metal in my body I can never touch or pull out. Osteonecrosis at 31 with a total joint collapse. Hip replacements only last so long. I've also had a radical encounter with Jesus. I've given fear a lot of authority over my life, but that bridge. Your power is found in the roughest waters where I have no choice but to trust You. I'm in those waters, and if I can just give you some advice, find the Rock and brace for the rapids. Because when you decide to walk out of your kingdom and into His, it changes the course of the entire river. And it's worth it. My phobia isn't going away, but I know my God has a far bigger say over me than the necrosis, and He's way stronger than titanium.

So healing. This song keeps playing in my head through a difficult time, keeping me close to Him when it’s difficult to read or concentrate. Sometimes music is the only way to reach someone. I thank God that Brandon has yielded his life to Jesus and NOT this world! Praise God!
