I stayed up 4 nights in a row to record each side of Extraterrestrial Live from a local radio station in 1982. I was a Junior in high school. I've purchased at least five copies of this album alone in various formats throughout the years. To this day BOC plays my region (Finger Lakes region, New York) every year. Joe and Al Bouchard (BOC), Dennis Dunaway (original Alice Cooper Band), and Alice Cooper himself ALL play the region whenever they tour. Life is better because of this. I've spent literally thousands of dollars on music, merchandise, and show tickets on this group of musicians. I have no regrets, life is better because of this.
Why is BOC not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame?

Back in the early 70's when I was in 8th grade, my older brother of 10 years was a member of their fan club and for $0.10 would mail away for their lyrics on the old green and white perforated computer print outs! I would wait until he went out to sneak in his room to put the 1st 2 albums on his turntable! I'm so old I actually saw them play "She's as Beautiful as a Foot" Live!

I saw them sneak into San Diego and appear at a secret gig as Soft White Underbelly! It was a crazy dream man......I remember Eric saying....no requests.....were doing it all! Totally insane.

BÖC played in Helsinki Tavastia 1998 and I was like in Heaven there! Never has time flight so fast, it was like 10 minutes concert even they played 2+ hours. I never forget that amazing concert. BÖC is the best band forever in my mind from year 1978 when I heard first time their music. There has been and are many good bands like Pink Floyd, The Stones, Zeppelin, Eagles..but BÖC has always been and will be number ONE. "Last day of May" is special and gives me goosebumbs. Only Nightwish is about the same level as BÖC "Greatest show in the earth" song is...no words to describe that feelings what I get from these songs.

Yeah, Blue Oyster Cult survived Black Sabbath. Thank God for BÖC. I'm in heaven. The concert is extraordinary. Sound is superb.

I feel bad now that I missed this one. To see Eric Bloom and Back Darhma playing BOC again. Great guys and great rock band. I saw them many times in the 70's and 80's. Love you guys. Come back to Swanzey since the Colonial Theatre is closed for repairs.
