6:22 First time I'm seeing a shady component try to connect to the mothership via a dial-up modem.

The GAMDIAS team hugely appreciates the criticism from the video and apologizes for falling short of maintaining expected quality standards. Although painful, it is a valuable lesson for us. For non-QC errors, such as no ARGB function and performance, will be addressed in our second-gen product, AURA GL V2, launching in Germany at the end of March. Aside from user-friendly prices, we aim to better serve our users by actively improving QC and addressing issues the community presents.

I'd like to see $60-80 AiOs from more familiar brands, like Thermalright and ID-Cooling, where components are cheap and nothing special, but at least everything works as expected.
12:16 damn impressive, I wouldn't stick that pad so straight first try.
Do RAM and its cooler connect in perpendicular way, so flat copper base only touches the tips of the sticks radiators? Seems kinda pointless.

Back when I used to work at a computer hardware store, we'd started selling Gamdias products. At the time, I'd never heard of the brand, and their prices seemed suspiciously cheap.
One day, a customer wanted to buy a 240mm Gamdias AIO. The moment I picked up the box to scan the barcode, I hesitated. The whole box felt empty. It felt much MUCH lighter than any big-brand 120mm AIO. I asked the customer if they were okay with me opening up the box to make sure the product was new and actually packaged. They gave me the go-ahead, and... yup, everything was there. Customer still wanted to go ahead with the purchase, there was no convincing them otherwise which, fair enough, I get that.
Guy comes back a week later wanting a refund. According to them, the fans were rattling around like crazy and the pump made incredibly concerning noises. After the refund, some of us were curious about thermal performance, so we set up a test bench. Oh boy... it was worse than AMD's Prism stock cooler. The customer's claims were also spot on. Since then, we've done our best to steer future customers who were attracted by Gamdias' low prices.

Haha 6:55 Never heard you say something like this before. This must be such a great product :D
Anyways. And yet we have new Arctic Liquid Freezer 3 AiOs with discount for the company anniversary. 75 euros for LF3 360 is something that cannot be beaten. A-RGB is 88 Euros.

Not all cheap AIO's are bad, but the general rule of thumb I can agree with.
I got a Thermalright Frozen Prism 360 AIO last June for $65 and I've had it running at 90% pump speed 24/7 (my pc is always on) with a 13600K at first and now a 14700K with great results.
Fingers crossed that it lasts a while.

I have the TT Floe 360mm premium, that was part of a "custom" build from CyberPower pc...yes i know its cheaper to build your own but it was during the pandemic when you couldn't get anything. The Thermal Take aio has been rock solid zero issues with performance, fans and pump at full speed arent loud either. The only minor gripe is TT's software was annoying for a few months, it wouldn't retain my rgb settings after I turned off my pc...so have to set the color, which was just a simple static purple, each time I turned it on. However, I haven't had that issue again. So honestly it's been a very good aio esp for what I paid vs a Corsair aio which was 50-100 dollars. In fact, at the time at least, a 240mm/280mm Corsair aio was a bit more than a 360mm TT premium. The Corsair tax is real and they don't really perform any better than the more maligned brands like TT, Cooler Master, etc

Great review, even if I'm not looking to buy a AIO. Just wanted to mention that i first thought that the "Aura" written on the packge of the cheep AIO was compatability thing for motherboards with Aura lighting. But I also want to point out that I'm not a RGB guy but can survive with some discrete colors and variations.

Personally I'd like to see a temperature/performance comparison of one AIO with and without Sheik on top of the case, as both my cats like to (individually) sleep on top of my case where the 360 AIO exhausts, whether the computer is off, idle, gaming or video rendering. Of course it could be tricky getting a cat to stay where you want them...
