#halflife #blackmesa friend recommended I play some Black Mesa, and I told them I had it and have had it for a very long time - like basically the moment it was made public as a mod/project before there was (I believe) such things as Kickstarters.
So yes, I've had it for a while...but i discovered after installing it that I've never really played it - possibly because when I first got it, it was super-alpha, very early build, more like a tech demo than a proper game, or at the very least, it was just the very first part, and for whatever reason, I never sat down and played it.
Until now.
It's not just an upgrade of Half Life - it's more like an expansion on the original story - it feels like the real Half Life game, but with more dialogue, more story, more things to check out.
So far, I'm loving it.
There's a good chance I'll actually keep going with this one and maybe even finish it....if enough people like it, I'll share it here - either way, I think I'm going to play it through.
