yes, you could have put the transparency of the head to max, but in Roblox, a fully transparent head would make your username and healthbar on your avatar invisible, And its easier to just make the mesh very small rather than have a new script that detects if a specific head is being used to make an avatar headless

the reason why they have to make it a tiny head is cuz Roblox coded every player so they must have a part in their model called "Head". this allows players to basically be "alive", without the head, players will not be able to spawn into games

It can't be headless. The head is attached to the HumanoidRootPart, so if that is removed it would just kill the player.

Idk why people are saying to make it invisible, or remove the mesh, either way, it's not actually noticable unless you do what's been shown in this video, so it's not a BIG deal.

If that was the case, every game would have to make a script where if a person is using headless, they delete the face, some games however wont probably implement the script.

They can but the head might collide with an object, resulting in glitching your avatar whenever you move

I don’t think people understand that headless head won’t just delete your head, rather it would actually make it fully transparent, but that would be a whole other story and a bunch of scripts to fix some things.

Technically, it's impossible to add alpha map (Transparency) into these accessories since Roblox doesn't support it's property. So I'm not suprised for real.

I remember a while back in 2020 their was this skeleton thing and if you zoomed into the chest so if you were looking upwards you could see the bottom of the head, and inside the chest in that spot was a 3d tiny emoji that looked like this- 😃
