I saw the first part and I thought Kevin Costner seems like a class act. I could support my children with 1/20 of the money he is offering his ex let alone the millions she is asking for. How do you teach humility and propriety to someone like this woman? With values like that she should not have full custody of those kids.

I just found you and really enjoyed your commentary on all of this sadness. Your point of view is spot on. I agree with EVERY SINGLE POINT. She can go get a job, she is spoiled. OMG, there's too much to repeat. Just know I agree. Ugh, I hope he gets his home back, and it all works out. Have a feeling this is going to get nasty. I feel bad for the kids.

Thanks for following this. Christine should understand that some of us who have worked since we were 12 and then became chronically ill live on 1500. A month. My lifestyle is nowhere near what it used to beā¦ but sacrifices must be made to survive. Sheās an entitled woman and itās gross. I supported myself and my children their entire lives without their fathers presence or help. KC is being more than generous, IMO.

Thank you so much for putting Kevinās words out there, because itās always her words. He needs a break from her. She has given the impression to everyone that she has been neglected. Wow, I would love t9 be neglected like that. Please keep us informed, because all we get is a bunch of lies.

The argument that we must always support fellow-women always astounds me. I'm 70, old enough to remember bra burning, and I'm totally confused. Wasn't the goal of feminism to attain equality with men? Why should we then demand considerations that we not be granted to men in similar circumstances? Why shouldn't a grown woman be expected to contribute to her OWN support? Provided the children are old enough to attend school, why shouldn't she be expected to work, and to have her earnings deducted from the support? I also think it's outrageous to expect the spouse she dumped to pay for the professionals she hired to do the dumping! Has she no pride, no confidence in herself, no belief that women are the equals of men? Totally sickening IMO.

I'm glad that you have an opinion that is fair to both parties. I think that Christine should have to follow the prenuptial agreement. It is not his job to pay for Christine 's lifestyle. Christine should have to find a way to support herself. Kevin is willing to support his children and the kids should not be used to get a larger settlement and against the other parent.

Great commentary, Melanie! I think Kevin is taking the high road on this one and just stating the facts. I also think the reason he didnāt want kids from the jump was because of this exact situation. Thatās why they werenāt written into the PMA. You th ink you know someoneā¦
Her intents are narcissistic and sheās using the kids as a tool. Despicable! She might just need to adjust her entitled lifestyle. If thatās what she wants, sheās going to have to work for it and stop grifting. Make her kids proud of her.
Anxiously waiting for the next installmentāØ

UPDATE: At todayās hearing, J. Thomas Anderle ruled that Christine must vacate the Carpenteria compound by July 31. Kevin had requested a July 13 move-out date and Christine asked for August 31. Christineās attorneys have now asked for an extension until August 15. As I opined in this video, the judgeās ruling was based squarely upon what was in the āfour corners of the agreementā, and his decision enforces the PMA thus far. A hearing is set for July 12 on the interim child support issue and another hearing has been set for November 22 to determine the validity of the PMA. As I also discussed in this video, should the PMA be deemed valid Christine may be forced to pay Kevinās attorneys fees and expert fees. It is my hope that the attorneys are furiously working on a settlement so that this does not drag out, not to mention it would be in the best interests of the children!
