I remember hearing Dusty Street giving the announcement on K-ROQ. I was on my way to work at Del Amo Fashion Mall. I made a quick stop to pick up a few lady friends of mine and we barely made it in time before it began. The music was so loud and clear you felt it in your chest. I will never forget this day! I was 15 and I was with my mother. Never been a big u2 fan but believe me if you were there,they had a great presence. I miss those innocent days.Just about everyone was enjoying themselves seemed like there wasn't a care in the world. This was 1987 downtown la. This is what the world needs now.god bless
