I heard this song on a radio station playing old Beach boys songs one day in the late 1980s and this one stuck with me, not knowing the title. I was trying to remember some of the lyrics and remembered the word "run" and I finally found out the title after all these yrs. Not one of their hits, but a great obscure tune.

Don't remember where I read this, but apparently Brian Wilson was reluctant to show off his high range in this song and was maybe even a little embarrassed about it.
