I really appreciate that the trainers are looking into things like GI issues, thyroid issues, autoimmune issues etc. A lot of the time these are overlooked and the patients are blamed for their inability to lose weight. I got fat shamed by the first pediatric doctor I ever saw for thyroid and it's stuck with me to this day.

This video made me get up and workout. I'm finally making the change. I make my bed every morning, I brush my teeth twice a day, I've been eating healthy since the start of 2024 (the most amount of consecutive days I've ever gone eating good food my entire life) and I'm starting to workout and shower daily. For some it may sound pathetic but I never had motivation until now. I'm feeling happier already and I can't wait to keep going. Thanks for the spurt of motivation!
Update: thank you to everyone supporting me in my replies. For those of you who may care I haven't given up. I genuinely feel that this is a lifestyle change and I don't see myself stopping.
I'm a 5'6 18 year old female and I was 217lbs January 1st. It's now April 1st and I am 195.6lbs
Still struggling with self confidence, lack of motivation, and a lot of self doubt. I still workout everyday but most days it's tough because I genuinely really dislike working out. Going for lots of walks has been working better for me.

I’m not obese and never have been overweight, but hiking helped me overcome drug addiction and gave me a path to a new hobby - backpacking.
Hard to relapse when you’re a 2 day hike from your car 😂 actually gave me the idea to start a rehab where after the intitial detox (which can physically be hell), we do small trips to build endurance and teach the participants things about backpacking - ultimately leading to the larger goal of a week - couple week outing.
The symbolic nature of literally walking a path to reach a goal is something that inspired me a lot and that I’ve carried into other areas of my life.

6:55 serious respect to the gentleman trying to get back into the marine corp. I hope he achieves it.

This makes me wanna go there, I like how they mentioned conditions like hashimotos right away and how they changed the whole diet etc for that specific condition. I have hashimotos and I've been trying to lose weight and it's been incredibly hard without an expert to guide me on what to focus on. I am not overweight, but not comfortable with my body either, this camp looks so motivating.
