I was there... and it was utterly life changing. This concert happened in the very midst of a major transition into a new chapter of my life, when I really had to let go everything I had known and "Surrender" into an unknown future. I will be FOREVER grateful for the hope, courage, inspiration, and love for life their performance offered me. I truly LOVE them with all my heart; may they be blessed in every way. 🙏🏻💜
I would pay a LOT of money for the full Gorge live set. I am a proud RÜFÜS addict and I don't ever want to be in "recovery" for it, LOL! Please God, take me back to relive that entire performance in person... 🙏🏻🥲

Being born in the early 1960's, I grew up as a teenager liking all the great rock bands of the 70's (and yes, I have seen most of them live!), but I have always been into electronic music, following Tangerine Dream and the late Klaus Schulze for many, many years and really got into Trance music in the 90's. I stumbled upon Live From Joshua Tree and was immediately blow away by the sound and feeling of the music, but on hearing this track from Surrender, I just had to go out get the CD (had to import it from US to UK). It is absolutely stunning track in the studio and even more so live!
Please, Please come to the UK and do a proper tour (not just the odd festival date)!

I was blown away by this song in Boise, couldn’t stop jumping and screaming sounds of joy, it just cracked my soul open and I didn’t know the name of it. I said to my wife after the show, what was that song with all the red!!!

Saw them twice where they performed this with the outro...blew my mind. I come back to this video every couple of months to experience the high. This is a perfect song. The rhythms, the scream-like sound effects, the build up, the use of vocals, the emotional buildup and the drops that are more nuanced than a hard EDM song, but yet so intense still.... And the experience of FEELING these sounds saturating the air around you along with a crowd of thousands and knowing that even though youre not talking to each other, every single one of you is thinking the same thing: "Holy F&@*." This song, live, will make a fan of ANYONE who goes to a Rufus show, even if they were dragged there by a friend, partner or family member.
