So, like, they're testing different guitar setups, including various amps, pickups, and digital plugins. They discuss the visual appeal of the guitars and make choices based on their preferences. They go through different tones and effects produced by the setups and share their thoughts on which ones they prefer. They also touch on the practicality of using digital plugins for recording in different environments. In the end, they leave it to the audience to decide which setup they like best.

The thing I loved about this video is it wasn't a 1 to 1 comparison of digital to real amps. It was just 2 guitarists having fun. Because the fact is sonicly there is no difference, it's all about feel and workflow and whatever is the most fun.

MY main takeaway........................I'll need another decade of practice before worrying about the best platform to optimize my sound. Tyler's den won't make ME sound any better.

Dre got extremely cool tones out of each situation! Shows the versatility in knowledge of using amps, whether digital, physical, and everything in-between! Great stuff

Cool shootout! I play digitally most of the time because it's just so convenient to pull up a preset and have at it. But to sit down and just play for some time, a tube amp and a pedal board are just so much fun! Neither is better, and both have their place in my rig.

Digital is getting to sound better and better each time a new plugin comes out. HOWEVER, nothing beats the feeling of plugging into a mic'd up tube amp

Spot on. Tube amp for enjoyment and quality of sound, plugins for convenience (and some really cool sounds that sound almost identical to the ones of tube amps in the mix)
