The thing I loved about this video is it wasn't a 1 to 1 comparison of digital to real amps. It was just 2 guitarists having fun. Because the fact is sonicly there is no difference, it's all about feel and workflow and whatever is the most fun.

Cool shootout! I play digitally most of the time because it's just so convenient to pull up a preset and have at it. But to sit down and just play for some time, a tube amp and a pedal board are just so much fun! Neither is better, and both have their place in my rig.

Spot on. Tube amp for enjoyment and quality of sound, plugins for convenience (and some really cool sounds that sound almost identical to the ones of tube amps in the mix)
