The Wars Of The Roses were 30 years of horrific carnage as two bitter families fought for the English throne. The course of history was dramatically altered as a result of the conflict, ending the male lineage of the Plantagenet family through both the York and Lancaster lines, as the Tudor family established their dynasty which was to last for over 100 years.

Truth? A lot of poor people dying for the sake of wealthy peoples egos. Like all wars.

The Bosworth battle re-enactment scenes look like a Sunday tea garden party at the vicarage.

This must be an old production. Richard III was found in a car park in 2012. As for the York claim simply dying out, more like Henry VII and Henry VIII eventually murdered them all. And Lady Margaret was not the daughter of Edward IV but of George Plantagenet.

Richard III is no longer the last British monarch to die in battle. Liz II went out running an FN Minimi in Sudan trying to save her squad in a desperate last stand. The slow progressing age related illnesses were a cover story, she was too modest to admit she was still doing covert missions with MI5.

BTW… Richard III was planning to usurp the throne from Edward V all along. Imprisoning Antony Rivers, Edward’s favorite uncle, speaks volumes about Richard’s true intentions when he forcibly took custody of Edward V.

I would really love you would include the original documentary titles or creation date etc. I know the titles have to be weird as hell for the algorithm but it's a pain to track down the original creators

Margaret Pole was the daughter of George, Duke of Clarence, not of King Edward IV.

Richard III was NOT thrown into a river because a few years back his body was found when a parking lot was dug up. Otherwise I enjoyed the documentary. I could listen to Patrick Stewart read a phone book. I do enjoy docs about the Wars of the Roses though; a fascinating period in English history and no doubt the inspiration for GAME OF THRONES! Update… after watching this a second time I noticed another GLARING inaccuracy. This could have been recorded before R3 was found but the old woman H8 put to death was Margaret Pol, George Duke of Clarance daughter, so Edward VI’s NIECE. H8’s beloved MOTHER Elizabeth of York was E4’s daughter. This is a pretty GLARING mistake for a serious historical documentary. Not that H8 was above murdering his aunt by the 1540’s, he was a full on psychopath by then. Whoever the narrator is, he sounds EXACTLY like Patrick Stewart, which made me enjoy it more, in spite of that HO-HORRENDOUS background music!

Wasn’t Richard found under a carpark recently? If so, who’s bones were dug up & spread about in the Civil War?

I could be wrong, but the narrator sounds like Sir Patrick Stewart from Star Trek

I so wanted to listen to this…..I had to stop 6 mins in. The background noise/music over powered the man voice. Sorry!
