Since this episode was filmed and released in 2016, Bernard Noble was released from prison, in large part because of the attention his sentence received. Krishna Andavolu updates us on the story here: www.youtube.com/shorts/tfEHTK0B16s

Just so folks know - Bernard got out in 2018 and now owns a cannabis company that donates profits to fighting cases like his.

60 seconds in and already incredibly embarrassedā€¦this is really what weā€™re spending time and tax payer money on? Playing dress up and flash banging a house to give someone a felony over some weed?? Shameful.

Hearing the genuine opinions of the featured police officers is one of the most telling aspects of this documentary.

Looking at the size of these sherriffs, i think the war on obesity is more of a pressing issue than a bit of weed!

Great episode. We really need to stop looking at people as numbers and start looking at them as people.

Raiding someones house over weed is a waste of time and money. They're endangering lives over a substance less harmful than sugar or caffeine.

What's worse, officers out of shape or a person carrying two joints? šŸ¤”

Here in Brazil a lot of this happens, although weed is not yet legal here, if a young black man is caught with 2 weed cigarettes he is arrested, while a white person from an upscale neighborhood receives at most a lecture from the police.

the nerve of those racist cops for saying his family is broken when that is the most loving family i have seen in a long time and those cops probably beat their wives

Much love and respect to that public defender at 10:00. I'm sure she has gone on to bigger and better things by now but we need many, many more like her
