One massive juxtaposition of lyrics and melody, dissonant and primal and what I most like to sing with; I usually have to stop everything I’m doing when my playlist rotates to this. I’m useless to do anything else but listen. Several themes woven into a beatlesque progression of depictions of a commercialized lifestyle deemed desirable by the media, ad agencies and those that do their very best to leave the rest of us behind. A well woven tale with a melody that grabs you and won’t let you be. This is art in its highest form.

When I was 16 and not long for leaving school, our English Teacher brought this in 4 us to listen to,and although we quite liked it,we didn't quite 'get it'. Several years later I got this album in my late 20's/early 30's....when I was married...and sitting out in the garden and a few beers.....I certainly GOT IT. Brilliant album.
