Successful people don't become that way overnight. most people see at a glance-wealth, a great career, purpose-is the result of hard work and hustle over time. I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life..

The "perfectionist" versus "pragmatist" dilemma needs to take into account the risk-reward outcome too: it's easy to be pragmatic over a dinner choice but less so when the stakes are high e.g. choosing a car seat for your child; trusting someone with a large investment or even finding the right partner šŸ¤£

Sharing this with my nieces who just graduated from high school and college. It's good for them to hear from a young woman who has her stuff together.

One principle Iā€™ve adopted since I hit 40 was donā€™t be afraid to time box. Thereā€™s a trade off for projects that we are passionate about and the time and investment that comes with them. If you time box your habits and projects you are more likely to choose the ones of higher value and follow through on them.

I agreed with your reflection on being a pragmatist and be real with what you want. Now in my 30s, and realising that after spending 9 years working to only found out that my true passion was the first job that I left. Did I regret, that I lost valuable working experience? No, it was a great experience as you get to explore what the world got to offer and finally discover your core passion. Project "Life Transition" in progress

Before I even finish watching the video, Iā€™d like to add how important it is to implement the first lesson in parenting. Itā€™s a game changer. Itā€™s a disaster to raise a child being a perfectionist, and yes, starting with literally ordering that pizza, or ā€˜planningā€™ a weekend.

This is so true! I see this at my job! I am a pragmatist and I get frustrated with people trying to be a certain way or too perfect when it's not necessary.

Your advice is fantastic. Youā€™re not only smart but filled with wisdom beyond your years. Wish I learnt how to manage my finances more like you 10 years ago.

Great video once again! The growth of your channel is well deserved! I'd like to add that you should only outsource things you don't enjoy doing. Working constantly on tasks you enjoy gives you a lot of psychological leverage for the hard tasks you have to do yourself!

"Paying to free up your time" is something I learned as I entered my thirties. It made it SO much easier to decide what was and wasn't worth my time to do, as well as what I actually enjoyed doing.

Youā€™re saying everything Iā€™ve always thought, absolutely love your channel and your perspective!! You got a new subscriber here. And also a HUGE thank you for getting straight to the point and featuring the books you gain your insights from. I will share your channel with my 13-year old daughter, who is extremely bright but needs to hear things from someone other than her mom šŸ‘© šŸ˜…. I would love for your to make a video about books youā€™ve read that helped you find your path and shape your views. Thank you!

Very true Nischa we don't need all the information. Going with our gut feeling on things is best before we talk ourselves out of taking action šŸ˜Š
