I find it humorous that to be considered an "adventure " bike, it has to have all the nanny features, but if it doesn't have them, it's a beginner bike. I have gotten rid of my Tiger 1200RP and have a new Himmy ordered.

I am from the US and I never even heard of Royal Enfield Himalayan until social media. Lately, I can see Royal Enfield has a social media campaign going on to get their brand out there and I think it’s a great move. Everyone loves the successful.

I live in Hungary and always ride through the villages, mountains, valleys and forests with my old Himi. I drive 70 km/h or 43 miles/h. and with the atmosphere that my himi radiates, that is the feeling of adventure i get.

It was really fantastic that you managed to get the old and the new model together for a direct comparision, I don't think i've seen this before. Well done, and thanks for your honest opinion on both bikes.

Yes, the old one has more character and better looks, this could be mistaken for any other bike in this catagory. The old one has the analog clocks and the chunky alround look that I prefer. The only thing the old one really needs, is the performance of the new one, and then i'd be the happy owner of a Himalayan, untill then..., well, all stays as it is in my garage!

Greetings from India... A word abt pillion comfort... From your video, it's evident that if the foot pegs of the pillion were lowered by abt 4 inches, and an alternate set even lower by 6 inches, then the pillion wd get better thigh support...ref your video at timeline 16:50...Thanks

Well done Dee, first review where the screen is not flickering! Does it feel heavy? Off road for Me is a country lane. I can see this being My next bike, thanks!

Certainly it seems like a good all round machine. I'll definitely be going into my local dealer for a look and possibly a test ride when I get the chance. Super review Diemante, well done 🤓 💖

Tomboy Fantastic side by side review Lady! Your video clearly shows the differences and why someone would choose either one. I like the new model and Royal Enfield will sell a lot of them. Ride SAFE and BE safe Deimante! 👍👍🌹

I think the new bike is awesome, but i still prefer my old Thumper. I like the looks and simplicity of the air cooled engine, and the retro dash. I dont ride on highways anyway.

Loved this review, great detail for this bike that we are waiting for in the USA.

Again, another really good bike. It seems these single cylinder middleweight bikes are the thing (no need to go bigger?) I must say, I enjoy the journey through all the country roads and lanes in these reviews. Great job.

Be interesting to see what a custom bike shop can do with the new bike
