This is one of the more impressive bases I’ve seen for solo life. Been tired of building big compounds to get offline raided - this seems like a nice middle ground.

Not actively playing rust, but every once in a long while I see a base design that inspires me to play a wipe or two. You sir, have just done that.

One little addition I found useful for the shooting floor is placing a camp fire down in the triangles off to the side of the ramp, allows for small elevation changes useful for tracking targets :)

using this in my current wipe and dude...it's amazing. So much storage, pretty inconspicuous, and easy to build just about anywhere. This is my new go-to. Been super fun to live out of and make my own in certain ways

Everything about this is perfect.
Bunkered TC, 360 shooting floor, thrifty scot starter, bunkered after starter (making it easy to start without being ganked), and refinery in the base.
It even looks cool.

Tested this base out on the past wipe. awesome design. as a solo player who had little time to play this wipe (mostly in part due to holidays), I appreciated that throughout most of the building stages, you could camouflage the base to make it appear raided which made it less desirable to raid for the long periods I was offline. The only change I really made to the base was adding a makeshift heli tower to the top of the shooting floor. I just replaced the triangle floor with a ladder hatch to access it.

I absolutely love this base, tried it last wipe. I did make some modifications though. The top roof instead of sealing I put triangle ladder hatch then some walls into a mini shooting floor with a bed and then 2 wall frames up for a windmill. And instead of putting that floor next to oil refinery I put another bed and boxes for quicker access up which is convenient since the locker is right there too. It also did pretty well in an online raid…they used so much boom to get inside and gave up after reaching vending machine.

I love this design just to let people who play console know that you can't place the oil refinery in this way because for whatever reason on console you have to be standing slightly further from it. I tried everything so your options seem to be either place it before the wall or leave that outer wall wood until it's ready to be placed then chop out and replace with stone. Just be sure not to place it too close or you won't be able to replace the wall.

Lovley base. Although i Would leave the single doorframe to the tc wood bcs if you somehow Would mess up the vendi placment u Can just softside it and make it right. That way you will not have to use boom on the veningmachine.

This build has been patched on PC. The bunker will most probably seal for good if the server restarts. Console is unaffected though.
