People are saying this song doesn’t make sense. Makes perfect sense to me. The word “wife” is used as a noun, verb, and adjective in this song. A couple of the rhyming phrases don’t make sense on their own, but in the greater context of the song they make perfect sense. This is TOTAL female empowerment!

I get the hidden message actually. like at 1:05 it talks about how the lady cook, and if the men learn how to cook he can try cooking and see why his wife doesn't like to cook.
It's basically about telling the man to eat what his wife cook, cos the wife took a long time to prepare the food. and how the wife cook, clean and attend to his needs. (like you know what I'm gonna say) and when the wife is in a good mood she will be humming a song and going around the house like a mermaid swimming in the sea. basically is about the typical housewife that society wanted.
