A thingo I made for school! Well, technically only the melodies. Y'see, our class was going to perform our SABAYANG PAGBIGKAS for another Buwan ng Wika celebration. We performed a poem by Michael M. Coroza: Daga.
In our performance, we were allowed to make chants and sing tunes with the words of the poem as out lyrics. And so, that's what we did! I composed the all the melodies that can be heard in the trumpet part in the beginning. The other melodies were composed by our teacher, who helped us along the way. I merely harmonized them for this song.
Speaking of which, this song is a tribute to the performance! Memories were made during practice and the execution itself, and it deserved a song made inbetween art commissions.
